Boot Sequence

When Radar Microwave Module first switch on, Output high level for 3 Sec, follow Low level 2 Sec and go into sensing condition, when Sensor activated is high Level, Standby at Low Level.

Module Function

The Radar Microwave sensor module can detect that if there have the moving objects in the region by frequent difference between the transmit and receive signals (Doppler Principle) or high-frequency electromagnetic waves.

The Radar Microwave sensor is not affected by ambient temperature, humidity, airflow, dust, noise, brightness and so on. With a built - in multi - filter algorithm, the module has a strong anti-jamming capabilities and its signal can penetrate glass, thin woods, acrylic and other non-metallic materials.

The Radar Microwave sensor can be used to detect various scenes of objects movement (motion or micro-motion), including smart home, smart locks, sensor doorbells, wireless cameras or another low-powered scene, circuits, lightings and it can replace most of the light dimming applications.

Precautions for product use:

1. Microwaves cannot penetrate metal, and the product cannot be installed in closed metal lamps.

2. Microwave power supply requires power ripple to be less than 100mv.

3. Microwave induction will react to all moving objects, so the test environment should be away from fans, running machinery and equipment, flowing water pipes, etc.

4. Microwaves will react differently to objects of different materials, sizes, and moving speeds. For objects of the same size, the higher the density, the easier it is to detect.

5. The antenna surface should be higher than the metal surface, not lower than or flush with the metal.

6. Microwave is penetrating, so it cannot be tested in a small room.

Matter Attention

1. During installation, the front of the antenna should avoid metal shells or components to avoid shielding signals. Occlusions such as plastic or glass are allowed, but the occlusions should not be close to the front of the antenna.

2. Try to avoid pointing the radar antenna in the direction of large metal equipment or pipes.

3. When multiple radar modules are installed, the antennas of each radar module should be parallel to each other as far as possible to avoid direct irradiation between the antennas, and the spacing between the modules should be more than 3m.

4. The radar sensor should avoid facing the AC drive power supply and stay away from the rectifier bridge of the drive power supply as far as possible, so as not to interfere with the radar signal.

5. The power supply driving capacity of the radar module must be greater than 20mA; otherwise, the sensor will work abnormally.

6. Power supply needs to use a power supply with small ripple, especially low-frequency ripple is easy to interfere with the sensor work, it is recommended that the power supply capacitance is greater than 100uF.
